A 5th generation rancher in California’s Sonoma Valley, Taylor Serres has been part of the family operation all her life. She became more involved after returning from college at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, where she studied Wine and Viticulture with an emphasis in Enology. Following the “unwritten rule” of working for another company for at least five years before returning to the family business, Taylor worked for the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance and co-produced Sonoma Wine Country Weekend and the Sonoma Harvest Wine Auction, large-scale wine events in the region.
Following her time in the non-profit world, Taylor worked for a private hunting club in Sonoma Valley, where she was able to mix her talents for event-planning and one of her favorite hobbies, hunting. Today, Taylor has returned to her family business where she is in charge of winery relations, sales, compliance, marketing and anything else that is put on her desk. In 2018 with Taylor at the head, she and her two brothers started a wine label “Serres Ranch Wines.” The first vintage will be released in 2021.
In late 2019 Taylor opened up a wellness center in Sonoma called Sonoma Cryo. Currently working to get the business of the ground, she offers Whole Body Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, Aqua Roll, CryoSkin and much more. This wellness center has allowed Taylor to bring pain relief and overall well being to her customers and she takes great pride in this new venture. Taylor currently serves on the Board of Directors for Sonoma County Winegrowers as Chair of the sustainability committee.
