Exhibitor Education

Vinexpo New York Exhibitor Education

Vinexpo New York collaborates with the Wine Business Institute at Sonoma State University (SSU) to produce an exhibitor education program focused on market entry into the US beverage alcohol market. SSU is a global leader in wine business education and research and brings a wealth of expertise to this project. The goal of the series is to help you navigate and better understand the complexities of working in the US market, and to better prepare you for exhibiting at Vinexpo New York.

The 2020 educational program included exhibitor case studies, a webinar, and a series of reference materials covering a variety of topics ranging from the basics of the US market, to legal issues, and route to market strategies. The program concluded with an exhibitor conference session produced by SSU, that took place at Vinexpo New York on Sunday, March 1.

Information for the February 3-4, 2021 event will be released later in 2020.

Success Stories: Finding the Right Import/Distribution Solution

“How can I find the right importer or distributor for my products?” This question annually tops the list when exhibitors are asked to name the number one challenge to developing their business in the US market. To address this issue, we’ve invited current and past exhibitors who will discuss how they have secured distribution or met growth objectives by making the most of their time at Vinexpo New York. The panel will be rounded out by experts from the import, distribution and education sectors who will share their point of view on successful entry and growth strategies for the US wine and spirits market.  Discussion will focus on working a plan at the show and how to identify partners who have the best fit with import and distribution goals. The session will also feature a robust Q&A period so attendees can have the opportunity to ask their questions directly of the panelists.
