Moravia is producing some of the most interesting wines in the world right now. In this master class, Vinexpo New York 2020 attendees had the opportunity to learn about wines from this region of the Czech Republic. This country is not producing wine for the glamour – people in this region produce true, natural, old world wine. Moravia’s position on the 49th parallel puts it at the same latitude as renowned wine regions such as Alsace and Champagne. This “new old-world” region has been making wine since Marcus Aurelius and his legions battled during the Roman wars. Very little is available or distributed in the United States. Vinexpo New York attendees had the unique opportunity to taste these wines for themselves.
To recap this master class, we have created an eBook containing the materials provided by Wines from Moravia, Czech Republic.
